Manaus Jungle Lodges

Opened in 1991, the Amazon Ecopark Lodge is located on a private reserve that promotes conservation and sustainability. The pastoral bungalows are rustically decorated and provide many creature comforts. Each room has a porch, bathroom, electric showers, screened windows and air conditioning. The cabins are located in the forest and there are white-sand beach that also belong to the lodge. Over 6 miles of jungle trails, natural savannahs and creeks invite guests to explore the jungle and its inhabitants.

Among the Amazon treetops, sits the Ariau Amazon Towers, a jungle lodge with 271 rooms in towers connected by catwalks. Located 35 miles from Manaus, the Towers are linked together by four miles of sturdy wooden catwalks giving guests the opportunity to walk in treetops with friendly monkeys, macaws, sloth and parrots. At night enjoy the planetarium ambience with the circular ceiling filled with stars and 3 dimensional planets. Beautiful rustic furnishings adorn the lodge, while you will find internet connection and computer equipment available 24 hours a day as well as a state of the art entertainment center and exercise equipment. The dining room is lined with polished tropical wood, a honeymoon suite is built 110 ft up a mahogany tree and there are two pools, a meditation center, restaurant, and gift shop.

With environmental friendliness in mind, The Amazon Village Lodge is one of the very few lodges that does not use a generator nor hot water. Nevertheless the lodge manages to provide complete comfort. Each of the rustic rooms provides a private bathroom with warm water. The pastoral lodge even offers a small bar and a reading corner with hammocks on a balcony that invites you to linger.
